In Etiquette and Protocol, it is called Colorimetry. These are a set of basic rules that help us identify the tones and sub tones that exist and how we can combine them harmoniously according to color theory.
These Rules are unisex, they work for all genders, since we talk about harmony in color, colors do not have sex.
Look at the following model, because he is dark-haired, orange colors suit him, and white, which is a basic, suits him super well.
Here I brought you some graphics and examples of each group and subgroup so you can learn to dress like a fashion expert.
In the graph you can see that the tones between wine and yellow are what we know as Warm Tones. These are ideal for those whose veins look greenish. This is because brunettes, brunettes, or black people these colors enhance their skin tones. The woman in the photo for me is a brunette with light eyes, she obviously likes warm ones, this wine-colored sports sweater is a good choice in her case. The gray of the shirt and the rest of the details of the sweater in gray, highlight her gray eyes.
An easy way to check if the color suits you or not. It is by placing a piece of color close to your face. If it makes you look more beautiful, that tone suits you, if on the contrary you feel that it makes you look pale or sick. It's definitely not your tone.
For example a dark brunette will not look good with a pastel blue tone. Instead it will look regal with any shade of orange.
Another way to combine when dressing is by using complementary colors. Suddenly you can wear a fuchsia blouse with green pants. Using the tone that most favors you in the blouse. You will be able to use all the other shades in pants.
Your skin could be dark brown, but the perfect match with that beautiful skin is an analog colour. But denim or jean looks great in every skin.
People with a very fair complexion, those we call white, tend to wear cold tones better. If your veins look bluish on the inside of your wrist, cool tones are yours.
The basic blue suits the blonde in the photo very well (Img. 7) People with very white skin and light eyes go for strong tones, primary colors, yellow, and red. While for a mixed-toned person like mine, the previous colors favor me, but my skin stands out more in a mustard yellow, an electric blue, and several all red. This according to the stylist experts who advised me.
